Meet Chetan

I’ve always been curious.

About people.
About what makes us tick.

Why we respond differently to the same situation.

Why something brings out the best in us one day — and gets in our way the next.

And what we might be capable of that we haven’t quite discovered yet.

Experience &
reflection

That curiosity has travelled with me.

Through banking, fintech, marketing, education and business.

Different roles.Different situations.Lots of different people.

Experience taught me a lot.
It also gave me more questions.

Some of those questions turned inward.

  • What makes me tick?
  • Why do I respond the way I do?
  • What comes naturally to me?
  • What gets in my way?
  • What else might I be capable of?

That introspection led to more learning.

I explored techniques, frameworks and ways of thinking that helped me understand some of those questions better — and gave me different ways to work with others too.

I’m still learning. I hope I always will be.

Because there’s often more there than we realise.

We tend to notice what we’re missing.

What if we also looked at what’s already there?

  • The qualities we have.
  • The things we do naturally.
  • The experiences that have shaped us.
  • The capabilities we may not be using fully yet.

Sometimes, someone else even sees something in us before we see it ourselves.

My role isn’t to tell you who you should become.

It’s to help you explore what makes you tick, recognise what you already bring — and discover what else you might do with it.

Things I try

And then there are the things I try…

Photography

Photography took me across genres and, along the way, brought me some international recognition.

Delhi in my Belly

A weekend eating street food around New Delhi with three colleagues became a coffee-table book — four copies, one for each of us.

Stand-up

And once, mostly because it was well outside my comfort zone, I tried stand-up comedy.

One performance.

It went rather well. 😄

Different things. Same curiosity.

Why Alpha Shift

Look closer. Ask questions. Try something. Learn. And occasionally, surprise yourself.

That’s probably the simplest way to explain Alpha Shift.

It grew from experience. From curiosity. From continuing to learn.

And from believing that sometimes the most useful thing we can do is look again — at the situation, at the possibilities, and at ourselves.

A little of the formal stuff

A conversation. A different perspective. A small decision.

Ready to explore?

You don’t need to have it figured out.

Bring the question. Bring the challenge. Bring the half-formed thought. We’ll start there.
